If you live in Lago Norte, or you want a bit of a drive, you must have heard of the fantastic bakery and coffeeshop Padóca. Located in CA 7 in Lago Norte, it opened its doors in July 2021 and was an instant hit with the locals.
The brains behind the coffeeshop are Catia Lopes and Camila Marconi, who wanted to open a community coffee shop where locals can meet, remote work and have a healthy choice of food. And they are environmentally friendly, so you will not find any plastic utensils or packaging.
All products are produced on the premises with fresh ingrediencies, and you can watch the bakers through a glass window working. The corner shop has a large veranda with tables, chairs, a sofa and even a swing.
The products on offer are typical for a bakery, like different breads, croissants, cakes, etc. And for breakfast and lunch you can order all sorts of dishes from the menu that are very tasty. Try the guacamole toast with egg on top. And the coffee is sensational.
And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable. For example, if you order a guacamole toast with egg, a orange juice and a cappuccino it will set you back under R$40.
Padóca is open 7 days a week and on Saturday and Sundays, as well as on public holidays, they offer a breakfast buffet.
