Lamen stands out as one of Brasilia's best Chinese eateries. Formerly known as Lola, a name derived from its proprietor, it relocated from across the street to its current location and offers Brasilia’s most delectable and genuine traditional Chinese cuisine. Located in CLN 409, Asa Norte, it operates with just Lola, the owner, and one other staff member, which might result in a slightly slow service. However, the culinary offerings unquestionably justify any waiting period. To circumvent extended wait times, arriving early is advisable, given the establishment's petite size and widespread popularity.
For me, it evokes strong nostalgia, reminiscent of my time living in Nanjing from 1986 to 1988, as it represents the pinnacle of authentic Chinese gastronomy in Brasilia. It is said that in Lamen you get some of the best ramen and gyoza in Brasilia. The menu thoughtfully caters to vegetarians, and its assortment of authentic Chinese noodles, soups, dumplings, and baozi meat buns surpasses anything else I've encountered in Brasilia, all at an affordable price.
They are open from Monday to Saturday from 18:30 to 23:00 and unfortunately, they do not have a website or social media, so you have to go there to check it out.
Highly recommended.
