Not many people know it, but right smack bang in the middle of the embassy area in Asa Sul there is a very well-maintained mountain bike park called the Embaixadas Bike Parque.

The mountain bike park was built by the city of Brasilia, and they maintain it as well. It has plenty of jumps, corners and tracks for every level of experience. It also has a kid’s training area.

The only negative aspect of the park is that there is no shelter, so this can be an issue during the rain season as well as in the hot season with no way to protect from the sun.

The mountain bike park is located in front of the Lebanese and Mexican embassy in SES 807, and there is no entry fee to use it.

On weekends sometimes a food truck will be there to provide food and drinks, but don’t bank on it.

And before we forget it, the park has a pretty awesome view over Lake Paranoá.
