For the second time in 2021, the Brasilia Hash House Harriers organized a Hashers Not Trashers cleanup day and collect as much trash as possible.
Thanks to the support from students and teachers from the American School we were able to have two pick up sites this time in Brasilia. The students, teachers and Hashers living in the Asa Sul/Lago Sul area went to the city park, while the Hashers living in the Asa Norte/Lago Norte area met at Parque da 13 in Lago Norte.
A camera team from the local Globo-DF team showed up and covered the event as well, but unfortunately didn’t mention that the volunteers were from the Hash community and the American School.
We would like to thank everybody who participated and next time we will reach out to more organizations to support this event.
The next Hashers Not Trashers event will be on the 27th of November.
